12 Days of Christmas|Day 6It was a dark and cold night... kind of.
Well, it was a cold night, and Aiko was bundled up in blankets and sipping some hot chocolate as he wrote his wish list for Christmas which no one was supposed to read, but he was pretty sure it'd been taken by Kaito a few days before Christmas every year. The man wasn't even a shinobi, so Aiko wondered how he managed it...

Have you ever wondered how weird it is that I still believe in you at my age? I have reason to do so of course, but it is rather odd that I am so sure of your existence. Ah, whatever, I'll just begin already. I only want a few things this year, so I guess that's a good thing. This Christmas, I would like...

... to meet my dad. Even if it was off chance, and I never saw him again, I want to know what kind of man he is or was if he happens to be dead. I can hear things about my mom, so I'm still waiting for the other half, Santa-san.

12 Days of Christmas|Day 5Aiko blinked at the doppelganger before him in disgust before he slammed the door shut.
"There is no way on earth that is going to happen," he all but growled at the elf-like man who guided him.
"It would not take much wo--"
"It will never happen," Aiko said icily. He turned away, "I'm leaving this madhouse..."

His body lurched forward in bed, and his eye blinked rapidly as he woke up. With a sigh, Aiko slumped over. He held his head in his hands, hair surrounding his body like drapes, "Ugh, that is the last time I make eggnog after mixing poisons together..."

Aiko got up on his toes as he reached up for a box on the top shelf of the code room. His fingers brushed up against the box lightly as he tried to pull it toward himself. He sighed softly. He had experience with his height hindering him, and he was still waiting for that growth spurt so he could gain some sort of advantage over it. He glared up at the box, as if it was the inanimate object’s fault that it was on such a high shelf. Deciding to wing it, Aiko cracked his knuckles experimentally, preparing to jump at the box.
As he jumped, Aiko barely sensed the carefully concealed wind chakra that gave him a boost to reach the box. He turned around in confusion to see Hoshi smiling down at him in amusement. Aiko huffed in embarrassment, “I would have gotten it down by myself.”
“Yes, I’m very sure you were thinking of a plan,” Hoshi said reassuringly, taking the box out of Aiko’s hands. “As enchanting as it was to watch you reach for
